Ordo Iuris: We beat Nowack! Parliament passed the bill, parents boycotted sexeducation

On Thursday, the deadline for releasing children from "health education". Thanks to the expert actions and social run of the Coalition for the Salvation of the Polish School (KROPS), in which we opposed the demoralization of children – most Polish parents expressed a vote of distrust towards the fresh subject.

Everything indicates that Minister of National Education Barbara Nowacka suffered a full defeat.
On Friday, the spokesperson for president Rzeszow Marzen Kłek-Krawiec told the Polish Press Agency that more than 80% of the students were enrolled in Rzeszów from “health education”! In 3 Rzeszow advanced schools, interest in the fresh subject was zero.

The president of Stalowa Wola reported on social media that the resignation of the class had made 80% of the students of the local advanced school. The paper Wyborcza was afraid about statistic from Legionowo. A spokeswoman of the Regional Old Town in Legionowa, Joanna Kajdanowicz, announced that, including “health education” she had resigned as many as 1313 of the 1414 students covered by the curriculum for teaching this subject – and all this in the town where the city office organised a peculiar day of consultation, during which parents could talk to an education faculty worker to dispel their doubts about the “health education” programme. However, not a single individual came to the consultation. 1 of the technicians in the Legion will not organize fresh classes at all due to the fact that all the students have resigned. In the local advanced school from all over the school, only six students will attend classes.

The statistic on Podhale, which was discussed by the wellness marketplace portal, look even better.
In the municipality of Bukowina Tatrzanska, 11% of students will attend “health education” classes and 4% in the municipality of Black Danube. 10 schools will not be able to organize the subject due to deficiency of volunteers. In Poronin municipality, 2 schools will take care of their activities, and in 3 there will be none. In the largest secondary school in Zakopane – the Władysław Zamoyski Hotel-Turistic School Complex, which educates more than 1,000 students, 100% of students have resigned.

In the coming days, we will learn statistic from the largest cities in Poland, which can, of course, rise the overall percent of students whose parents do not see a problem in indoctrination of children with sex ideology. With a large deal of probability, however, we can conclude that our action has produced a large effect. Even Barbara Nowacka, who in a conversation with TVP Info, said that "there is no doubt" that most of the children in the country will be released from the fresh subject.

It's our big, joint success!

More than half a year of writing analyses, publishing guides and brochures, and tens of meetings with thousands of parents and teachers throughout Poland, as well as pickets, marches and petitions, have helped the full of Poland to learn about the dangers of “health education”.

As a consequence of his broad commitment to the demoralisation of children, he encouraged the episcopate to be discharged from the “health education”. And president Karol Nawrocki informed the media that he and his wife had decided to release his younger boy from the "health education" lesson. No wonder. After all, last December – as a candidate for president of the Republic of Poland – he participated in the KROPS demonstration against ideological indoctrination of children in schools co-organised by Ordo Iuris.

Let me just remind you that Barbara Nowacka was determined a year ago to make "health education" compulsory. First we forced her to retreat from the compulsory character of these ideological activities, and now we had a crucial part in convincing millions of Polish parents to boycott her flagship project.

No substance what the final number of students participating in "health education", we can say proudly present that our action has been a large success.

But it would never be without people like you – without our Friends, Donors and Sympaths, who are the only origin of backing for the work of lawyers and experts of Ordo Iuris. Therefore, thank you very much for all your support and I ask you to proceed to remember the Institute so that we can complete the liquidation of this harmful object and the resignation of Barbara Nowacka.

However, reports of the large success of the parental action of the boycott "health education" are not the only large Trump in the fight against the demolition of the Polish school and the demoralization of our children. The day after the date of the release of children from "health education" we achieved another large – and for many amazing – victory.

On Friday, the Polish Parliament – in which the majority inactive have parties belonging to the government, whose Barbara Nowacka is simply a typical – adopted at first reading the bill "Yes for religion and Ethics at School", prepared by the lawyers of Ordo Iuris, under which a large collection of signatures was organized by the Association of secular Katechets.

Although the assumptions of our bill are manifestly contrary to the decisions of Barbara Nowacka marginalizing the school catechesis – the bill was supported not only by all members of the Law and Confederation, but besides by the Polish People's organization and 8 of the 28 voting Polish MPs 2050. Even the talker of the Sejm Simon Holovnia voted for our bill!

The project, under which more than 500,000 Poles signed up (meaning 5 times as much as required by the law!) assumes the work of all student in Poland to sign up for religion or ethics, to reconstruct 2 hours of religion or ethics per week (a simplification in the number of hours would be possible only with the approval of the diocesan bishop or the authorities of another spiritual union), to return the grades from religion and ethics for a certificate and to include them in the average rating, and the right of pupils attending the religion to be released from classes for a three-day Lent retreat.

However, the adoption of the law at first reading is just the beginning of the legislative process. We have ahead of us a phase of work on the task in the parliamentary committees, another reading in the Sejm, a vote in the legislature and yet the signature of the president of Poland. At all these stages, we must be active – we must engage in discussions in committee, convince Members, Senators and president to support the bill, exert social pressure, launch petitions, organize demonstrations, prepare legal analyses...

Today, no 1 is able to replace us in specified a comprehensive, wide, professional and effective activity as lawyers and experts of the combined teams of the Ordo Iuris Institute and the Centre of Life and household can carry out.
I must besides stress the importance of creating a broad civilian coalition for us.

Fighting the school demoralization of children Coalition for Polish Salvation School is close to a 100 organizations. On the another hand, cooperation with the Association of Świeckie Catechets allowed to scope schools, parents and structures of the Church with a task restoring school religion. This ability to cooperate and supply legal and substantive facilities is simply a reason for our pride.
