Why doesn't Kaczyński tolerate counter-candidates?

Let us remind you that this is not the first account of Kaczyński's fear of losing control of the party. He has been president of the Law and Justice since 2003, taking over from his brother. The PiS was not ruled by anyone else.

At the same time, Kaczyński is profoundly traumatized by the failure of the erstwhile party, the Centre Agreement. In the accelerated 1993 parliamentary elections, the PC did not scope the 5% threshold and did not enter the Second Parliament.
