On 21 January 2026 at the Military method Academy in Warsaw Deputy Minister of National Defence Stanisław Wzątek conducted a briefing with rectors of military universities.
During the meeting, current issues related to the functioning of military higher education and its improvement in 2026 were discussed. The Rectors provided information on the teaching and investigation activities of the university, as well as the challenges facing the military education system.
– Military universities play a key function in building the defence possible of the state. This is not only the place of training of future staff for the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland, but besides crucial expert and technological facilities supporting the improvement of modern defence capabilities," emphasised Deputy Minister of National Defence Stanisław Wzątek.
During the briefing, attention was paid to the importance of coherent activities of military universities in the field of education, investigation and cooperation with the socio-economic environment. The gathering concluded with a summary and the formulation of conclusions and tasks for the following months.
