What relation do quantum computers have with security, and how can supercomputers affect cryptography? You will read about this in the February “Army Poland”. We besides compose about soldiers who construct drones, about sub-commissioners who are to become chopper pilots, and explain why things got so hot around the Arctic.
Kwants are like calories – they exist, although they are not visible. I start with a joke, but it's beautiful serious. Scientists around the planet race to build quantum computers and make technology in this area. There are besides Polish researchers and engineers in the cape. Importantly, the improvement of quantum technologies is besides beginning to support the military. Why? The answer is simple: for safety.
The Department of Innovation of the Ministry of Defence has already published a paper a fewer years ago indicating the priorities of investigation in the Ministry of Defence. The improvement of artificial intelligence, autonomy and quantum technologies has been recognised among the most crucial in the next 10 years. And that is why in the February edition of the monthly magazine "Army Poland" we compose about technologies that may be groundbreaking for technological improvement of NATO countries. These technologies and their importance to the armed forces are asked by representatives of various academic centres, including military ones and the Command of the Cyberspace defence Army, due to the fact that it is an institution that oversees the search in this area for the army. Experts admit that quantum technologies will revolutionize their existing capabilities, increase opportunities or reduce the cost of operation of equipment. They will aid keep safe communication, break codes, or encode. Innovations will besides be utilized in imaging, positioning and metrology.
In the February “Army Poland” about modern technologies you will find much more. For example, we take dronlabs for wallpaper, which means a hotel program in which drone laboratories were created in selected units of land and peculiar troops. Soldiers are active in the construction, assembly and modification of unmanned vehicles. In addition, we accompany the military on patrol under Operation Horizon, and we besides check what will be learned in Dęblin and the United Kingdom by the officers who are to become Apache helicopters pilots. We besides describe how the horses in training and regular service are utilized by territorialists from the 19th Perbuzhian Territorial Defence Brigade.
I peculiarly urge the text "hot among ice" in which we compose about the importance of the Arctic. The region again caught the eyes of politicians and commentators, all due to US claims to Greenland. In PZ-tka you will besides read about the bloody rebellion in Iran and about the problems of Ukraine, which for 4 years has defended itself against Russian assault. Piotr Łukasiewicz, chargé d’affaires RP in Ukraine talks about everyday life under fire, the war adaptation of Ukrainians and the conclusions of the war for Poland.
Finally, I would like to mention another material. “Rethinked all move” tells about young Chor. Tomasz Roszatowski, a soldier of the Central Military Sports Team. Tomek is simply a real fighter. 14 years ago, on a mission to Afghanistan, he was badly wounded and lost his left arm. Despite his traumatic experiences, he learned to function again, returned to service, achieved sports successes and represented our country in various disciplines, wrote even a book. He late received a modern prosthetic hand that I hope will change his life. Tomek, like many another veterans with a white-red flag on his shoulder, fought alongside allies. Poles never stood "a small off the side and a small off the front line" – many of our soldiers were honored by American commanders and politicians for their bravery and brotherhood in the battlefield. Let's remember that.
