Deputy Prime Minister and head of MON Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz reported that ABW and SKW would check hypotheses about the camera found on damaged tracks on the Warsaw–Lublin route. According to him, the device could have been utilized to capture the detonation or to monitor the site to prevent the discharge of the cargo.
In a talk on the ZET radio, the head of the MON stressed that investigators are analyzing different scenarios related to 2 acts of diversion on this line. In Mica, the blast destroyed the track, which, as Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated, may have been an effort to blow up the train. At another location, close the Dołąb station, a depot with 475 passengers had to rapidly brake due to the damaged infrastructure.
The prosecution launched an investigation into terrorist activities that were intended to support abroad intelligence. The case will be dealt with by a peculiar squad of prosecutors in cooperation with the ABW and CBŚP.
