New ultimate Court decision on money for the Law and Justice

In 2024, the State Election Commission adopted 2 resolutions on the financing of the Law and Justice. The first resolution of August afraid rejecting the study of the party's committee for the 2023 elections. The second resolution of November consisted in rejecting the yearly accounts of the Law and Justice for the full 2023.

Jarosław Kaczyński's group challenged both of these resolutions to the ultimate Court. The Extraordinary Control Chamber dealt with the first resolution on 11 December and found the complaint to be justified. The latest decision of the SN concerns the second resolution.

The issue is of greater importance as the second of the resolutions of the PCW from the vending device deleted the full budget subsidy to the Law and Justice Office by the end of the word of office. It is about PLN 75 million.

A spokesperson for the ultimate Court at a press conference explained the latest decision. As he said, the full proceedings before the PCW concerning the financing of the political organization were carried out in a situation of "certain misunderstanding".

“The PKW did not realise that what is different is the control of the political party's electoral committee study and what is different is the control of the political party's accounts,” said Aleksander Stępkowski, adding that they are 2 different entities.

Let us remind that PKW accepted the ultimate Court's decision on 30 December 2024 on the first of its resolutions and yet adopted the financial study of the PiS Committee from the 2023 parliamentary elections. However, the committee had previously raised its reservations on the matter, as it expressed in its resolution of 16 December 2024.

The point is that decisions in the SN are made in the home of Extraordinary Control and Public Affairs. It was created during the regulation of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of 2017. It is created by persons appointed after 2017 as a justice at the request of the reformed National Judicial Council (the alleged neojudges).

The position of the Extraordinary Control Chamber is challenged by global tribunals. In practice, it is the Minister of Finance who decides to pay money to the party. It is Andrzej Domański from the Civic Platform. He does not accept the decision of the Extraordinary Control Chamber. Prior doubts of the PCW at the SN Chamber served as a basis for writing in which expects additional clarification of the committee's position.

PKW members decided on Thursday 16 December to prepare an answer for the Minister of Finance. Her task is due to be developed by January 23.
