An alarming poll. So many Poles believe in falsified presidential elections

On 6 August, Karol Nawrocki is to be sworn in. It was the candidate supported by the PiS that won the second circular of the presidential election. However, after announcing his win, there were voices that the voting results could be falsified.


The echo of the alleged miracle over the urn is not silent. The media across the country reports further polling stations where the committees were mistaken and attributed votes to the incorrect candidate. As a consequence of the calculation of votes in respective committees, more than 2000 votes were won by Rafał Trzaskowski, but he lost to Karol Nawrocki by almost 370 1000 votes. However, the fresh poll indicates that many Poles believe that the results of the vote have been falsified.

"Rzeczpospolita" commissioned SW investigation to conduct a survey. Within its framework, only 1 question was asked to the participants – Do you think it is possible for this year's presidential elections in Poland to be falsified. The answers show how divided Polish society is.

Most participants in the survey do not believe that there may have been a false election. 45.3 percent of respondents gave the "no" answers in the survey. At the same time, as much as 40.1% gave the affirmative answer. This means that 2 out of 5 people believe that individual "manipulated" erstwhile counting votes.

– More frequently than all another surveyed (52%) from 25 to 34 years old and the same percent of respondents from cities to 20,000 inhabitants do not believe in the anticipation of falsifying this year's elections. Almost half (49%) of people with net income between PLN 5001 and PLN 7000 and a akin percent (48%) of respondents with secondary education are of the opinion that it was not possible to counterfeit the presidential election – said Piotr Zimolzak, vice president of the investigation agency SW Research.

The Roman Gierty is simply a proponent of the false presidential election theory. The KO MP urged voters to submit electoral protests to the ultimate Court. This was to lead to a recalculation of the votes, and above all to block the swearing-in of Karol Nawrocki.

On the last weekend of June, however, a non-PiS court of the ultimate Court informed that they would not be considered. "This protest was made utilizing a model developed by Roman Giertych, who, via the Internet, prompted this model, as his electoral protest, many thousands of voters. As part of Case I NSW 208/25, the charges repeated in 49,598 identical electoral protests, leaving them without further running," the ultimate Court Chamber stated.



The published message besides states that the ultimate Court received brief statements from voters, in which they declared their support for Roman Giertych. Others were printing e-mails, which were instructed by MP KO to make an email protest.
