The head of Italian diplomacy, Deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani, is preparing mediation with Israel so that the humanitarian flotilla can supply assistance to the Gaza population. The drone attack on the global fleet was condemned by Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. She criticised the initiative.
