New electricity tariffs from October 2025. Real relief or "electoral sausage"?

The government has delayed the entry into force of fresh electricity tariffs until October 1, 2025. The current rates – with a maximum price of PLN 500/MWh – will stay unchanged throughout the summer. The decision is to give energy companies time to take into account lower wholesale prices. Is this real relief for customers or just a pre-election maneuver?
