Karol Nawrocki is about to make another abroad trip. The dpa agency announced that on 16 September the president of Poland will go to Berlin, where he will meet president Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
According to the agency's information, Nawrocki is to be admitted to Bellevue Palace, the authoritative seat of the German President. The Polish president may be a hard talker, given fresh demands for reparations from our western neighbour.
Berlin will be the 3rd capital, which Nawrocki will presume after taking office. On Wednesday, he met with U.S. president Donald Trump, who declared that American soldiers would stay in Poland, and there could be even more.
Subsequent meetings in Italy
Immediately after leaving the United States, Nawrocki flew consecutive to Rome, where he will meet Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on Thursday evening. But his meetings in this country are not over.
On Friday before noon, the Polish president in the Vatican is scheduled to hold a conversation with Pope Leon XIV. In the evening he will meet with the Italian president Sergio Mattarella.
