On Tuesday before noon, a message of property supported by the PiS of the presidential candidate, president of the IPN of Karol Nawrocki, was published online in 2021. He listed in it 2 properties he owns with his wife and a 3rd - 50 percent co-ownership with his sister.
The published property message dates back to August 2021. It's listed two Gdańsk apartments, which in 100% are owned by Nawrocki and his wife - with a full area of 57 m2 and about 30 m2.
"Karol Nawrocki and his wife own 2 apartments. It always included this information in property statements" - wrote Nawrocki spokesperson Emilia Wierzbicki for X, publishing the candidate's property statement.
She added that "with the advice of lawyers, for the sake of caution and full transparency, in property statements, he besides included information about the 50 percent stake in the property in the will owned by his surviving mother". This is simply a 57 m2 flat listed in the statement, located in Gdańsk, where 50 percent of the property is mentioned in the legal title.
In the box, Nawrocka exchanged the cash resources at that time 48,000 PLN in the savings account.
The disclosures of Nawrocki's property statement, which with the support of the Law and Justice organization is moving for president, have demanded in fresh days, among others, KO politicians.
Onetu findings
Such expectations arose after the fresh debate of presidential candidates organized by "Super Express" Nawrocki said, among others, that he belongs to those Poles who have 1 flat and that he is an opponent of cadastral taxation and after the publication of Onet portal, that Nawrocki is besides in possession of a studio flat which he took from an older man in exchange for care.
On Monday Nawrocki assured that he would print his property statement, "if only there was a legal possibility," so that everyone would be convinced that "everything is fine with him."
According to Onetu, Nawrocki took over the flat of Jerzy Z. in exchange for taking care of the man; in the end, however, Z. went to a welfare home. According to Onetu, Jerzy Z. is simply a sick 80-year-old who in 2017 donated his studio to Nawrock and his wife Marcie, and these in return were to look after him. Onet wrote that "at the minute Nawrocki did not care for or aid him" and "the man was placed in 1 of the state DPS in Gdańsk and it is the employees of this facility who are taking care of him".
A spokesperson for Nawrocki's staff in a message published on social media wrote that Jerzy Ż. was the neighbour of Karol Nawrocki, whom he had been helping for many years, and that he was the 1 who donated money to the man for the acquisition of the apartment, which he promised to give Nawrocki for his assistance.
Wierzbicki pointed out that Nawrocki never lived in this apartment, did not rent, nor did he derive any advantage from it, paid fees for it until today, while Mr Jerzy is inactive the owner of the apartment. She added that "the contact with Mr. Jerzy disappeared in December 2024. (...) Karol Nawrocki tried to find him through his neighbours and friends, but unsuccessfully".
"Mr. George lived in misery"
On Tuesday he published a conversation with Jerzy Z.'s social individual Anna Kanikowska, who was to look after him from spring 2022 until spring 2023. According to her, "Mr. Jerzy lived in poverty", "practically had nothing" and that "without the allocation from the MOPR" and without the purchases made by her "he would have no food"; the nanny said that she tried to find out from Nawrocki why she was not helping the pensioner, since he took his flat in exchange for care and that she sent a letter to Nawrocki on this matter.
According to Kanigowska Nawrocka, "he just wanted to take over the apartment, and then he just didn't care." She added that she had never met "with specified insolent deception".
