Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz announced on Thursday that British Eurofighter aircraft had been scrambled from the base in Malbork. The intent of the fighters is to defend the airspace of Poland, the Baltic States, and the threat from Russia.
