NATO will supply ammunition to Ukraine for over a billion euros

The contract was signed on Tuesday at the NATO office (Brussels) and assumes the order of about 220,000 pieces of artillery ammunition cal. 155, which will be partially transferred to Ukraine as part of assistance provided to Kiev by the associate States. The agency signed a contract on behalf of respective non-listed countries forming part of the North Atlantic Alliance. Partially acquired combat funds will besides be utilized as a complement to the warehouses of countries that have so far supported Ukraine with ordered shrapnel-storming effectors (e.g. Poland or Germany). However, first deliveries are not expected until the end of 2025. For their implementation, as Reuters says, the French military company KNDS Nexter and German company Junghans are to be responsible.
