PKW: authoritative election results. It was a thriller until the last minute

After a dramatic election night, we already know the authoritative results of the presidential election. The State Electoral Commission gave the final results from the 100% electoral commissions. The advantage of the winner proved to be minimal – just over 1 percent point.


Supported by PiS Karol Nawrocki won the 2nd circular presidential election with the consequence 50.89 percent.; candidate KO Rafał Trzaskowski 49.11 percent of votes - officially stated the National Election Commission on Monday morning.

According to the data on the Commission website, Karol Nawrocki won 10 million 606 1000 877 votes, or 50.89 percent.

Rafał Trzaskowski was supported by 10 million 237 1000 286 voters, or 49.11 percent.

Turnout in the second circular of elections was 71.63 percent.

President Andrzej Duda congratulated Karol Nawrock on Monday morning on his triumph in the presidential election. The president besides thanked for his advanced attendance and taking work for Poland.

"Thank you! For participating in the presidential election. To attendance. To fulfilling a civic duty. For taking work for Poland" - Andrzej Duda wrote on the X platform, who congratulated the winner. "Still strong POLSKO!" added Duda. (PAP)
