Bridge to Sicily

The thought is as old as the Roman Empire. The bridge was dreamed of by Garibaldi, Mussolini, the premieres of Craxi and Berlusconi. Construction of the crossing besides entered the election winning program (2022) of the Giorgia Meloni coalition. After little than 3 years, only 1 tiny step – the Court of Auditors' approval of the investment – is between us and the start of construction work.
