It is not known why disability benefits depend on the age of disability acquisition (for example in the social benefit). The most drastic situation was in the care provision (old). The regulations said that disability must mostly arise before age (exceptions for science). However, in 2014, the Constitutional Court stated that this is incompatible with the Constitution of the Republic of Poland - there is no reason why the old care provision should not be given to the care of a individual who has been blind or in a wheelchair since the age of thirty.
