On January 25, a fresh interview was released on the “Big in Maluch” channel, hosted by Waldemar Żurek, Minister of Justice. The full conversation lasts more than an hr and various issues are discussed. On the another hand, the conversation gained national popularity due to what happened on 1 of the pedestrian crossings. I think this conversation gave us another valuable lesson.

Minister Żurek in Maluch

Channel ‘Big in Little“ on YouTube combines a passion for motorization with highly interesting conversations. The founder of the canal, Filip Nowobinskiinvites to Fiat 126p various guests and interviews them on all subjects. This time the guy in small was Waldemar Żurek, present Minister for Justice. The gentlemen discussed quite a few themes, including the Clean Transport region in Kraków, cadastral tax, property statements... but besides many another topics.

For many people, all of this will be little crucial than the situation, which through lightning has penetrated almost all the media in the country. About 48 minutes of interview, gentlemen are moving. Minister Żurek sat behind the wheel. About 59 minutes and 10 seconds of video comes to this situation. A woman, most likely holding a telephone in her hand, enters a pedestrian crossing. – Be careful. – says the founder of the channel. – What happened? – the Minister asks. – You almost ran over that lady— explains Nowobinski. – No, no, no, no, no, no. – says Waldemar Żurek.

What's the problem?

I'm not going to decide who behaved well and who acted badly. I am glad that the subject is coming back to public space provisions within pedestrian crossings. Regulations that I think are incorrect and are changeable from the very beginning. Should the Minister of Justice Waldemar Żurek behave differently here? It is not for me to justice this – but... it is another situation that prompts us to discuss it. It's not just about whether the rules are appropriate. But besides about this... Should specified interviews even take place?

I wonder if recording specified conversations, interviews on very important, engaging topics, just in the car, is that a good idea? If you usage a hands-free kit in your car, you most likely know how it feels. You talk to individual like this for 5 or 10 minutes, and then... you realize you don't remember the road. You have no thought what happened. The driver should naturally focus on the road, not on explaining any crucial issues. Of course, I'm not saying you can't accept it. However, it is always about sharing concentration and attention. That's why, at the end of the day, there is simply a question in my head – is this format of interviews truly appropriate? First of all, is he safe? Not only in the expression where the guy sits behind the wheel, due to the fact that the another side is the same.
