The evidence number of citizens this year must personally come for a fresh identity card. Almost 3.7 million papers are invalid from the data of the digitisation department. And this means serious problems, due to the fact that without a valid document, it is hard to deal with regular matters: from receiving mail, through bank operations, to authoritative formalities or abroad trips. Moreover, neglect of this work may consequence in severe financial penalties, up to PLN 5 000. Putting things off at the last minute is threatening to get in a long queue. All due to the fingerprints.
