No more statements, no more time to build production lines.
The government transferred nearly a billion zlotys to 3 companies of the Polish Armed Forces Group. The goal is one: in the coming years Poland is to get the ability to manufacture CAMM-ER rockets independently, including engines and heads.
The decision of 29 December 2025 is simply a milestone in the program "Narew", estimated at as much as PLN 100 billion – which makes it the most costly undertaking in the past of the Polish Army. The money went to 3 key entities: Mesko, Military Electronic Works (WZE) and OBR CTM.
Mesko: Polish engine, Polish head
The most crucial part of technology transfer goes to Mesko. A maker of world-renowned and respected “Pioruns” enters the advanced league. The company received funds to build the production capacity of 2 critical elements of the CAMM-ER missile:
- Rocket engine: this makes us independent of the supply of propulsion from abroad.
- Fragmentation head: a specialized charge that destroys the mark with a cloud of shrapnel.
This is simply a key change – we will not only be a assembly of finished blocks from the UK, but a maker of key components.
WZE and OBR CTM: assembly and strategy brain
Other measures will be utilized to make infrastructure in Zielonka and Gdynia:
Military Electronic Plant (WZE) will build a fresh production hall, where the final integration of rockets and the production of command cabins will take place. The investment is to be completed by 2028.
On the another hand, the OBR CTM received backing from the Centre for the Integration of Arms and Systems – this is where the complex electronic and IT systems will be combined to control the full "Napwa".
What is CAMM-ER?
The rocket we will produce is simply a British construction from MBDA, adapted to Polish requirements.
- Range: over 40 km (fills the gap between Pilica and Patriots).
- Cold start (Soft Launch): the rocket is thrown out with a compressed air launcher and the engine fires in the air. This allows you to hide the launcher in the woods or between buildings without the hazard of fire.
- Speed: above Mach 3 (more than 1000 m/s).
- Guidance: active radar – the rocket itself “sees” the mark in the final phase, does not request to be illuminated from the ground.
Poland ordered More than 1,000 specified missiles, so launching your own production is simply a substance of strategical safety of supply.
Polish eyes are already in orbit. What precisely flew the Falcon 9 rocket, and why is this a breakthrough for our army?
