Next year, McDonald’s will open the world’s first restaurant with a changed logo. The venue will be built at Denmark's National Stadium – Parken, and the logo – alternatively of characteristic bile – will usage white. The reason for the change is local fans' animosities.
The stadium is played by FC Copenhagen, whose rival – Broendby – is identified with yellow. This colour dominates Broendby's outfits, flags and scarfs, so, as the stadium authorities and the FCK explain, “yellow is very unwelcome here”.
The unprecedented decision to change the logo was made after long negotiations, had to be approved by a global central company.
