New Year's Eve is simply a day erstwhile many Poles and Poles buy products at the last minute for a home party, gathering with friends or just to prepare something for themselves and their loved ones for this peculiar evening.
We'll go buying in fresh Year's Eve. Here are the beginning hours of the shops
Although December 31 is not a trade-free day, well-known chains of shops frequently change their working hours on that day, they usually shorten. Here is simply a list of well-known discounts and their closing hours in fresh Year's Eve (at any locations the given hours may vary slightly, then it is best to check it on the doors of individual stores).
At the latest, you can store in Ladybug.
Ladybug – will be open until 21:00,
Dino by 8.30 p.m.,
Lidl – until 8 p.m.,
Kaufland by 6 p.m.,
Auchan – until 6 p.m.,
Carrefour – until 6 p.m.,
Daisies – until 8 p.m.,
Aldi by 8 p.m.,
Net – until 7:00 p.m.,
Frog – until 11 p.m.
The ladybug besides reminded her customers that on 30 December (a day before the fresh Year's Eve) more than 2,700 stores would be open until 11:00 p.m. or longer to let customers to replenish their supplies peacefully.
What about January 1st? That day, all the shops will be closed. We will only buy the most needed products at Frogki or at fuel stations. The facilities will reopen for customers on Thursday 2 January 2026.
Let us add that in 2026 there will inactive be a ban on trade on Sundays. However, there will be exceptions. In the coming year we will besides do:

26 April;
28 June;
30 August;
6 December;
13 December;
December 20th.
