Mark Carney was sworn in as Prime Minister of Canada on Friday. He replaced the outgoing Justin Trudeau. Canadian public broadcaster CBC reported that Carney will go on his first abroad journey to the United Kingdom and France next week. The fresh prime minister is facing the decision to call early elections.
