Marcin Bogdan: The future of Poland in a drunken vision
date:26 March 2025 Editor: GKut

"Let me inform you that I have faced the problem of alcohol abuse.“ – this is the content of the message by Andrzej Szejna, associate of the Sejm of the Republic and Deputy Minister of abroad Affairs in the government of Donald Tusk. This is another message of this kind in fresh weeks, concerning 1 of the Polish parliamentarians or members of the government. There are beautiful and touching words about “a drinking disease”, and in fact we are dealing with common drinking.

How is it possible that the associate of Parliament, the Senator or the Minister of Government can be a compulsive drunkard? According to the law in force in Poland, driving after drinking is severely punished. This distinguishes 2 states in which the driver can find himself after drinking:

  • After usage of alcohol, erstwhile blood alcohol levels scope from 0.2 to 0.5promil

shall be considered to be excessive and subject to:

- punishes arrest or fines from PLN 2,500 to PLN 30,000

- and prohibits driving up to 3 years of age

  • Intoxicated state erstwhile the blood alcohol level is above 0.5 promile

is considered a criminal offence and subject to:

- conviction of imprisonment up to 3 years old

- prohibits driving for at least 3 years

- and a possible car confiscation penalty

These are the penalties for driving after drinking. If a drunk driver causes an accident, the penalties are much higher. Depending on the consequences of the accident, up to 20 years imprisonment with a life ban on driving.

The driver driving after drinking endangers his safety, safety of passengers and another road users. It endangers the safety of several, a maximum of respective twelve people. The MP, Senator or Minister directing matters of the Polish state after consumption of alcohol endangers the safety of millions of citizens. It endangers the safety and lives of these citizens.

The MP and Deputy Minister Andrzej Szejna, being a compulsive alcoholic, had access to top-secret information specified as "NATO Cosmic Top Secret" and "EU Top Secret". He was personally granted access by Minister Radosław Sikorski and the Homeland safety Agency has been checking for respective months whether Szejna should have access to classified information or not. As you can see, checking takes a long time, due to the fact that it is most likely not easy to find how a drunk MP or a minister solicited, for example, by a Russian intelligence agent. In the case of sober people, this assessment and fast verification of their rights are most likely much easier.

How is it possible that a associate who is under the influence of alcohol not only is not deprived of the right to service as a public office for life, but is admitted to the session of the Sejm and allowed to vote? What does the Marshal of the Sejm say? What does the organization supervisor Andrzej Szejna, Vice-President of the fresh Left, say? Vladimir Czarzasty, co-chair of the fresh Left said a fewer days ago: “Mr. Shejna, Dr. Shejna, I've never seen him drunk. And I know him 20 years.”. Following Szejna’s public confession to “the problem of alcohol abuse” Vladimir Czarzasta, supported by journalists’ questions about whether and how long he knew it, he admitted: “I think for a fewer years, since 22 or 21, due to the fact that I was besides informed that the MP has had therapyIt’s okay. ” possibly individual will say that a fewer days earlier Vladimir the Czarzasty was insolently lying. No, he wasn't lying. He was carefully choosing words. He didn't say He didn't know., only that He didn't see. He didn't see the drunken MP Szejna. And if the drunk Szejna was around, that's erstwhile Czarzasty would close his eyes, possibly even turn his head. So he didn't.

Jokes? Squeaking words? No, it's a diplomacy of the highest flights. justice Margaret Gesrsdorf accused of fleeing the scene of the accident testified that she had left the scene of the accident, but as a passenger alternatively than a driver. Her husband was the driver of the car. So she can't be accused of escaping if she wasn't driving the car. The court divided her ‘reason’. If the court had a different opinion, Gersdorf would have explained to the court that while she was sitting in the car, she didn't even dress up, so she didn't run. What if she didn't aid the victim? After all, the biker died, how she was going to aid him. And how did she know the biker was dead, and the court didn't analyse due to the fact that the court is on the ground and does not do metaphysics. Margaret Gersdorf is simply a master in careful choice of words. In 2017, being president of the ultimate Court, she attended a political rally, the alleged "chain of light". Allegedly apolitical judges demonstrated by holding candles lit. But Margaret Gersdorf explained this: “DI left the organizers a candle, I took this candle due to the fact that it was dark”.

Similarly, my “mate” from simple school explained himself. Caught smoking cigarettes in the toilet, he explained that he wasn't smoking, he was just pulling to keep it going.

We have MPs, senators, ministers and judges acting like a school hooliganry. Worse, due to the fact that not 1 juvenile hooligan would behave as an example of Claudio Jahira. Under the column I post a link to her ‘parliamentary’ speech. possibly it's worth it for our friends, our neighbors, those who say right-wing politicians are embarrassing. It may be worth standing at the church gates on Sunday and playing this recording from the speakers. To play open Catholics, Catholics so open that they chose individual like Claudia Jahira as their representative. possibly it's worth listening to it, possibly it's worth seeing drunk MPs vote in the Sejm over the bills. possibly it's worth seeing. possibly they will yet “refresh” themselves and think about what the future of Poland will be like under the control of people specified as Claudia Jachira, Andrzej Szejna and similar. And let them not repeat after Vladimir the Black One, "I have not seen." Just open your eyes and halt turning your head. Just look at your eyes. It's time to yet look back.
