In a nutshell, it can be said that many people active in the investigation tend to conclude that Fr Jerzy Popieluszko did not die on 19 October 1984. On that day, he was transported to military bunkers in Kazun, where through torture he was urged to cooperate with the services, and death occurred only a fewer days after the kidnapping, on October 25, 1984. There is simply quite a few information about this on the Internet, any of the investigation materials, including protocols from witness hearings are public and accessible to everyone. I'm not going to go over that information in detail.
A conference of members of the Bł. Jerzy Popiełuszko Museum technological Council in Warsaw organized by the Catholic Information Agency in the dynamics of the fresh days. The conference was attended by: prof. Paweł Skibiński, president of the Council, Paweł Kęska, typical of the Jerzy Popiełuszko Museum and Dr Tomasz Konopka, manager of the Department of Judicial medicine in Krakow. The IPN resources found a film, a video from the autopsy of Fr Jerzy Popiełuszko. movie recorded on VHS tape, more than 40 years ago, with an adequate image quality time. The film, which was kept for many years at an unknown location, under unknown circumstances, by unknown persons. And this movie became the subject of a one-man evaluation by Dr. Tomasz Konopka. And these conclusions from the analysis of this film, I stress, alone, by Mr Konopka were the only subject of this conference. We were withdrawn by more than 40 years, until 1984, leaving aside another materials or evidence from an ongoing investigation. That would mean that the death of Fr George was an accident. Clearly, any solstice is approaching. It seems as if on the 1 hand the fact was asking for full disclosure, and on the another hand it was desperately attempted to prevent it, in advance disproving the evidence that could be revealed. Is this related to the announced declassified annex to the WSI liquidation report? I don't know. Time will tell. I'm not going to mention and discuss any of the material or evidence that I've been making in my investigation. There's quite a few this, and the next fewer weeks can bring quite a few fresh information. I'm going to mention to another issue here, an highly crucial one. Many people ask why they would be called to hold and torture Fr Jerzy Popieluszko? Why would that serve? What was the purpose? Isn't murdering the Priest immediately after the kidnapping logical and consistent with the intent of the communist power, which simply wanted to silence the Priest?
