Maneuvers close Taiwan, China starts firing live ammunition

The Chinese military is continuing its major maneuvers around Taiwan, holding live-fire exercises Wednesday. The Chinese military reportedly conducted long-range artillery strikes and “precision strikes on targets specified as key ports and energy infrastructure facilities.” Among another things, a Chinese aircraft carrier is deployed in the Taiwan region.
