On December 10, the Church celebrates the memory of Our woman of Loretian. This memory was included in the calendar of the universal Church in 2019 and it refers us to Loreto, a place of worship of the Blessed Virgin Mary associated with the home of the Virgin Mary. According to tradition, the home which miraculously appeared in the territory of Italy was to be the home where the Immaculate Conception occurred, in which the Holy household lived after returning from Egypt.

The Shrine in Loreto is 1 of the large shrines of the Catholic world. We know that from apostolic times the household home of Christ the Lord was a place of prayer. A basilica was built around it in the 4th century, it was a place of pilgrimage until 1291, erstwhile the Crusaders were pushed from the Holy Land. The home was to appear in an inexplicable way on the territory of present-day Croatia, and on December 10, 1294 on the territory of Italy – which active an muslim threat. Loreto became a place of large worship of Our Lady, whose rays reached the farthest corners of the Christian world.

Today's memory is another reminder for us. He points us to the mystery of Incarnation: God has become a man, dwelled among us, lived through our reality, bringing the earth closer to heaven Christ revealed to man God and His will, showed him God as the Father, reconciled us with the Creator, so that we may be adopted sons. This is simply a large scandal for the Gentiles: God, the Lord, and the Creator of all things, becomes man, is simply a defenseless baby dependent on his parents, born in poverty, nothing that is understandable to the planet indicates His divinity, greatness, and power. Yet, he is Lord, Savior, King. Christ must besides be born in us, in our soul, believing that Jesus is truly God and man, truly risen, redeemed us and sanctified us.

We have religion in God, the creator of visible and invisible things. Christ brings light to a planet plunged into the darkness of sin, the grace of anyone who wants to receive it. We must be born again, become a child, be a fresh man, a kid of God. This is not about naivety or infantility, on the contrary: “Brothers, do not be children in your thinking, but be like infants erstwhile it comes to bad things. In your thoughts be mature!" (1 Cor 14:20), "Be careful, therefore, as ye walk, not as foolish, but as wise. Take advantage of your time, due to the fact that the days are bad. Therefore, be not unreasonable, but search to realize what the will of the Lord is" (Eph 5:15-17). Being “as a child” besides means maintaining interior simplicity, our son-in-law attitude toward God, the giver of all good. Therefore, although the planet may dissuade us from it, we must cultivate within ourselves the "child" ability to see beauty in creation and in another man, the joy resulting from faith, the ability to distance ourselves from the hustle, unrest and problems of this world, focusing solely on God.

This memory points to the Virgin Mary. Not long ago we celebrated the celebration of the Immaculate Conception, just after the birth of the Lord we will celebrate the feast of the Holy Family. “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be done to me according to your word” (Lk 1:38). The Virgin became the parent of the Savior, a co-partaker of His Work. She is our parent and our model. As Christians, we imitate Christ, we imitate His parent – we must regular renew, in various situations, Mary's words, to become servants doing God's will. Let us imitate Mary: let us consider God's Word, let us search God's will, let us offer to God everything we experience – besides our sufferings. In Him let us hope. Let us search intercession and the care of our parent and Queen. Holy parent of God – pray for us!
