On Monday evening there was a presidential debate organized by "Super Express". It was attended by all major candidates and candidates seeking the office of president (a full of 13 people).
During live broadcast on YouTube, cameras captured the different behaviour of the leader of the Prosperity and Peace Movement. The minute Joanna Senyszyn asked the question to Karol Nawrock, Maciej Maciak reached into his pocket, pulled out the telephone and answered the call, covered his mouth and started whispering.
That's not all. As Hubert Bishopski, deputy editor-in-chief of "Super Express" stated on platform X (formerly Twitter), during the debate, Maciej Maciak left the studio to... light a cigarette. "To tell the shame of this man is to say nothing," he said.
Let us remind that Marek Jakubiak asked the leader of the Movement of Prosperity and Peace directly: – Do you admire Putin?
- Yeah. All of us couldn't handle the pressure. This proves that he is simply a very good politician," said Maciej Maciak. Then a disgusted candidate shouted to him, "Applause for Putin!". It was Krzysztof Stanowski.
Maciej Maciak is controversial due to his statements, in which he openly expresses sympathy for the Russian and Belarusian regimes. Vladimir Putin and Russia called "a stand of normality". In 2019, he was convicted of insulting a black doctor who was his opponent in the election for president Włocławek.
Super Express Debate
During the presidential debate, "SE" did not deficiency emotion – not only the behaviour of Maciej Maciak, but besides the scandalous statements of Grzegorz Braun, as well as the strong reactions of Magdalena Biejat and Rafał Trzaski.
Sławomir Mentzen and Simon Holovnia did not fall behind either – the leader of the Confederacy joked with the Marshal of the Sejm, making a selfie with him, which he referred to the situation with the ceremony of Pope Francis.
The subject of the Collegium Humanum was besides raised and the issue of speech which Menzen frequently repeated during the erstwhile debate on tv Republic. The network besides speaks about the motion of Rafał Trzaskowski, a candidate of the Civic Coalition, who brought the Polish flag to the studio.
As it later turned out, it was the same flag that Karol Nawrocki had put before him during the debate in Koński. After this situation, many entries with hashtag #PossifiedFlag appeared on X.
