Aleksander Lukashenka has just placed part of the Belarusian army on full alert. The intent of his activities is to carry out an inspection. Let us add that this is another large military action in Belarus recently.
Belarusian military in readiness after Alexander Lukashenko's decision
Information about the start of military activities was published by the Belarusian Ministry of Defence. "As part of the combat preparedness inspection, at the command of the Chief Commander of the Armed Forces – president of the Republic of Belarus, a number of actions are being carried out to bring the armed forces to the highest level of combat readiness to carry out the inspection", was given in an authoritative communication.
What precisely will the inspection consist of and which units will touch? You don't know that. "Part of the Armed Forces units will take a number of actions to put them in combat readiness, decision to designated areas and take the actions specified in the order," the alert informed laconically.
It is worth noting that the inspection decision was made the day after the gathering of the Commonwealth of the Independent States of Lukashenko spoke about ensuring the safety of the countries included in the agreement.
– Firstly, our absolute precedence is to guarantee safety and peace within the Commonwealth of Independent States. We must not let CIS states to get active in dangerous incidents that endanger both our region and all humanity," said Alexander Lukashenko.

The last months for Belarusian soldiers were very active. On 12–16 September 2025 exercises "Zapad-2025" were held in Belarus. Within their framework, the Lukaszenko military conducted exercises together with representatives of the Russian army.
Later, reservists entered the action. As part of checking their combat readiness in case of "external threats", peculiar exercises were organised for them. The inspection now announced is so the 3rd in a short period of time to mobilise the Belarusian military.
