Lithuanians join 'Himars club'

Lithuania has signed a $495 million contract with the United States for the acquisition of 8 HIMARS rocket artillery systems, the Lithuanian defence ministry said on Friday. The first deliveries of HIMARS are planned for 2025. “This is the largest acquisition of military equipment in the past of the country,” the defence ministry said in a statement.
