Lithuania buys HIMARS and nearly 1,000 rockets

The U.S. defence Cooperation Agency (DSCA) has released approval from the U.S. State Department for the possible sale to Lithuania of 8 M142 HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket System) rocket artillery systems along with precision rocket munitions. According to Lithuanian defence Minister Arvydas Anušauskas, the agreement is expected to be signed in December this year.
