Lech Walesa first spoke publically about the death of his son, Sławomir. The erstwhile president and legendary leader of “Solidarity” referred to the tragedy in the emotional comments posted on Facebook.
On Saturday, May 3, Wałęsa responded to the entry of 1 of the social media users. It is clear from his words that the individual dramas that affected his household are, in his opinion, the consequence of the brutal criticism he himself had been subjected to for years.
“My sons died due to those like you who insulted their father. They were mentally weaker, they did not withstand specified vile, baseless mean attacks. erstwhile they broke down, they grabbed a glass," Wałęsa wrote.
In his next comment, the erstwhile president added: “This is my case, the bill for giving up the fight for Poland’s freedom completely. I gotta pay — I didn't have time for my household erstwhile the children grew up and needed me.”
The death of Sławomir Wałęsa — first findings are known
On Wednesday 30 April, Sławomir Wałęsa, 1 of the 8 children of Lech and Danuta Wałęsa, died. His body was found in an flat in Toruń. The man was 53 and orphaned 4 children.
