Kalashnikov is the largest Russian maker of automatic and sniper weapons and 1 of the world's most recognizable tiny arms manufacturers. The formally majority owner of the company is Alan Łusznikov. The past of its privatisation, the undisclosed sources of part of the takeover financing, the persisting relation of erstwhile shareholders with the company and the circumstantial position of the State of Rostec, however, indicate that the legal ownership does not full reflect the actual arrangement of influence.
