Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz (PSL) declared Poland's full readiness to accept more American soldiers. "We are here today, together, to inform the full readiness to supply specified conditions to American troops, which are good for Polish society, attractive to the American army, with the benefit of the Polish Army and the safety of the Polish state" - said the head of the MON.
"We are ready to accept more American soldiers" - declared Kosiniak-Kamish during a Thursday press conference. The gathering was besides attended by the head of the General Staff of the General Staff of General General Wiesław Kukuła and the operational commander of the RSZ General defends Maciej Klish.
Declaration after Trump's gathering with Nawrock
The defence minister spoke the day after the Wednesday gathering of president of Poland Karol Nawrocki with Donald Trump in the White House. The gathering afraid the issue of American military presence in Poland.
During the open part of the meeting, Trump was asked if American soldiers would stay in Poland. "I think so. (...) If anything, we can put more soldiers there if (Poles want)" - the president of the United States replied.
