The decision was to be taken earlier, in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. In her opinion, Kołodziejczak tried to anticipate the situation and present resignation as his own initiative.

Some time ago, we were talking about the fact that the Deputy Minister of Agriculture was at the heart of an investigation into the illicit trade in diplomas. According to media reports, the politician was to pay Collegium Humanum for obtaining a diploma without actually attending classes. Kołodziejczak was to pay PLN 5 1000 as the first instalment of tuition, and a full of about PLN 14 1000 for the paper and an additional PLN 4,000 for the university rector for helping to get it.

The investigation included the evidence of respective people active in organizing a diploma for Kołodziejczak at various universities, including the Collegium Humanum. The politician was formally enrolled on the student list in February 2024, and in June of the same year he was to get a bachelor's degree in management. However, his name never appeared in the authoritative POL-on student register. The documentation was to contain a certificate of completion of six semesters at another university which proved to be falsified.

According to witnesses, Kołodziejczak was aware that the diploma would be issued without a real participation in the classes and had no objection to the usage of a false certificate. In the end, however, the diploma was not issued erstwhile the Rector of Collegium Humanum was detained and the scandal related to the trade in diplomas was revealed.
