Karki is supported by protesters from the Gen Z movement, who have been behind the top social unrest in Nepal for years. Protesters expressed support for her by voting on the Discord platform. Although Karki spent most of her career in an environment against which young people protested, the reputation of fearless and imprudent individual made her candidacy accepted.

The crowning of Karka's legal career was the historical appointment of her as the first female to be president of the ultimate Court of Nepal in 2016. It was during this office that she was celebrated for the "zero tolerance for corruption" approach.

Karka's nomination is simply a compromise resulting from talks in which he participated, among others, the commander of the Nepali army. president Ram Chandry Poudela's office reported in a message that Parliament had been dissolved and fresh elections were scheduled for March 5, 2026. The fresh cabinet will gotta face many challenges, including restoring public order, rebuilding parliament and another buildings, and calming protesters and another Nepalese residents who fear that young democracy and constitutional order may fail. Thereafter, those liable for force in protests will should be brought to justice.
