Kharkiv front. Northern conflict of Ukraine

Still in the shadow of the conflict for Kiev won by the Ukrainians, the effective defence of Kharkiv remains. According to Oleh Zhdanov — a Ukrainian military expert, Russian forces gathered on the northern front are no longer able to re-storm the city. The proximity of the Russian border and leaving Russian troops under the city means prolonged fighting, but Moscow on this front has lost the initiative entirely. Russians are fiercely shelling civilian buildings.
