"There is no uncertainty that Polish soldiers are heroes. They deserve respect and thanks for their service," wrote president Karol Nawrocki, referring to the words of Donald Trump, who stated that the U.S. allies in NATO fought in Afghanistan, but their soldiers “stayed distant from the front line.”.
