The writers believe that their candidate won – due to the fact that he spoke, smiled and nothing got to him. That's how the prebrain of Christianity works.
Manuela Gretkowska does not describe reality – she takes it apart, revealing its grotesque and hypocrisy. In his latest column – sharp, saturated anger and literary precision – the author deals with the presidential debate, and above all with the PiS candidate, Karol Nawrocki. It's not just a image of politics. It's a cry against a planet where words lose meaning and force becomes everyday.

Nawrocks in her eyes are not a candidate, but ‘monstrom, slimming hypocrisy’which offers not vision, but chaos.
“Honor kibol of Poland” – as the author calls it – promises to defend the constitution, but according to her: “I think prostitution has any thought of it”. It is more than ironic – it is simply a language of desperation, directed against normalization of brutality in public life.
Gretkowska does not hide rage, but her anger is not random. ‘What else can he promise women? Badele plus? Young setups, and seniors go to DPS and loan?” – asks with despair. There is no area for euphemisms here – this is simply a clean, direct opposition to contempt that prevails from political gestures and declarations.
The debate, in her description, is not a clash of ideas, but "The Fall Performance". "Nawrocks jumping on their desktop weakened as they debated. In the background there is greater disappointment – not only politicians, but besides society. However, the final is the most poignant. “If he wins, Kaczyński will live 100 years, or longer, until he holds all his enemies up and sees the end of their sentences.” Gretkowska warns of a future in which politics becomes a tool of revenge and elections – the last anticipation of opposition. "For us last election – 1 June if we do not vote for Trzaskowski" – ends without leaving area for indifference.
Gretkowska's column is more than a publicist. This is simply a literary act of rebellion – loud, brutal, needed. due to the fact that in a planet where the limits of decency have been blurred, only this language has the chance to break through the wall of social indifference.
