German Chancellor warns: 'Europe cannot leave this area to them'

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz at the Berlin Summit on Digital Sovereignty advocated Europe's strong function in the planet of technology. Quoted on Tuesday by the dpa agency, the head of the German government stressed that Europe cannot leave digital leadership to either the United States or China.
