Jarosław Kaczyński criticised the Convention of the Civic Coalition held on Saturday, during which there was an absorption of the Citizen's Platform – Modern, Polish and Green Initiative. According to the president of PiS, it's nothing to do with PR. "Law and Justice wants to change Poland for the better, to improve the surviving conditions of Poles, and the Civic Platform changes its name in order to propagate the posts in polls," Kaczyński says.

On Saturday, October 25, the National Civic Platform Convention was held in Warsaw, which was at the same time the end of the party. PO ceased to be and a fresh organization was created in its place – Civic Coalition, which besides absorbed the Modern, Green and Polish Initiative.

"What are our names today? We are called the Citizens' Coalition due to the fact that as the Citizens' Coalition we have already won the elections and we will win the next elections. We don't gotta invent anything. No tricks, only truth, only strength, only good. To victory," said Prime Minister Donald Tusk at the end of the hour.

Jarosław Kaczyński comments on the change of name of the Civic Platform: We about Poland, they about themselves

Rebranding the Civic Platform did not impress the president of the PiS – a organization whose large program convention is already the second day. Jarosław Kaczyński receives Donald Tusk's organization reunion as a purely PR procedure.

"Law and Justice wants to change Poland for the better to improve the surviving conditions of Poles, and the Civic Platform changes its name in order to propagate the posts in polls. We about Poland, they about themselves," he wrote on X.

He besides referred to the two-day programme convention “Thinking Poland” in Katowice. As part of the congress, more than 120 discussion panels were organised, during which more than 600 people reflect on the fresh PiS programme before the parliamentary elections to be held in 2027 in about 2 years.

"The second day of debate on the future programme of Law and Justice. erstwhile we talk, we do. Their promises are clear. First of all, reliability" – added Kaczyński on X.
