It's "information alert." On 15 September, the tripartite agreement was signed by the Centre for Maritime Technology, the Polish Press Agency and a squad of IT companies.
"Information alert"
The "Information Alert" is to supplement existing tools, specified as the Government safety Centre (RCB) alerts. It will not replace the current informing systems and will extend them with additional possibilities. It aims to increase the efficiency of urgent messages.
The agreement is intended to make a strategy that allows residents to receive information about various possibly dangerous events. informing messages will be transmitted by the media.
Paweł Kostrzewa of the Polish Press Agency emphasized in an interview with RMF FM that the cooperation of 3 entities is aimed at developing a solution providing better and faster communication.
– The point is that each citizen can get information depending on where he lives," Kostrzewa said in a conversation with the station.
Deputy Minister of Interior and Administration, Czesław Mrkok informed on TVP Info that Poland is besides planning to make a informing application, modelled on Ukrainian UA State systems or Air Alarm. The subject is to be discussed during his visit to Ukraine.
Poles will be informed more effectively and faster
As we wrote in naTemat.pl, on Saturday after the launch of alarm sirens in Świdnik and Chełma many people had difficulty interpreting signals or did not announcement them at all. In consequence to the events of 13 September, the Ministry of abroad Affairs issued a message resembling the principles of utilizing the alarm strategy and alerts. If alarm signals are triggered:
– Stay calm and follow the oral messages,
– Turn the radio or tv on to the local station and follow the threat messages. Follow the instructions,
– Check where your household and people in the immediate vicinity are, inform them of the danger.
– If you are out of the house, contact your loved ones by informing them of your whereabouts and how you will proceed to contact them.
