The hour-long telephone conversation between German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Vladimir Putin clearly shows that the Russian leader is seemingly not curious in offers of aid in the alleged de-escalation of the conflict, due to the fact that he is going in the other direction and accelerating his war machine.
