The Israeli army was to dig up the Al-Batsh cemetery in the Al-Tuffah territory of Gaza in connection with the search for the body of the last of the Israeli hostages, abducted by Hamas during the attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, the remains of which had not yet returned to Israel.
