Grzegorz Braun again became celebrated for his highly controversial and anti-Semitic statements. The MEP publically questioned the existence of gas chambers in the German extermination camp Auschwitz, and further provoked the scandal in Jedwabne. His feats were commented by his sister Monika Braun.

– I remember with what acquisition Claude Lanzmann watched as a 20-year-old, a movie banned in Poland. It was 1987. What's happened to him since then? I feel like he's completely lost his sensitivity and compassion. As well as discernment in facts – he, a man who reads and knows past – said "Gazeta Wyborcza" Monika Braun.

Sister Brauna spoke after his last statements

– I usually find words to measure Grzegorz's public activity, I have already spoken critically about this, but in this case I barely build a sentence. due to the fact that there are no good words that can express what happened in Jedwabne and what was said on the radio – she stressed.

– He goes deeper and deeper, moves the boundaries, believes he has a circumstantial kind of legitimacy to grow his staging of wickedness. I look at it with horror, due to the fact that Grzegorz is now a promoter of evil, expanding this method of electorate. It integrates a group of people who worship violence, who enjoy hating and humiliating others, and who scorn what is precious to others. How effective this is, we saw in the last election – said Braun's sister in a conversation with "Election".

Let us remind you that Braun caused a scandal during the anniversary of the judaic pogrom. This tragic event of July 10, 1941, erstwhile the town of Jedwabne in Podlasie was pogrom about 300–400 judaic residents by local Poles.

Braun’s shocking message about the Holocaust

As if this were not enough, the Euro MP besides provoked outrage with his speech on Radio Wnet. A politician has denied the Holocaust respective times, calling it "feel" and "a pseudohistorical transmission".

– They all together, jointly and severally, B’nai B’rith, Polin and another organizations who present themselves as Jewish, condemn those who talk the truth. That ritual execution is simply a fact, and let's give Auschwitz with gas chambers a fake. And whoever speaks of it is accused of terrible things, condemned from reverence and faith," he said.

Importantly, Poland is inactive struggling with racism and anti-Semitism – both in public space and on the Internet. Although open expressions of hatred are condemned, racist and anti-Semitic content inactive appears in the statements of any politicians, especially the far right, as well as in comments on social media and online forums.
