Internet Forum for Slavic Movement

On 10 August, the global Slavic movement celebrated an extraordinary event: we organized an online forum for the Slavic movement dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the All Slavic Radio gathering of 10 August 1941 and the contemporary challenges facing the Slavic movement.

Opening the forum, Sergei N. Baburin (*)as Chairman of the global Slavic Council, recalled that In 1941, the Universal Slavic Radio Meeting, held in many Slavic languages, began with the words of Alexey Tolstoy on the request to unite all Slavic in the face of the brown plague that plagued Europe. present we face a recurrence of the same threat.

Leaders of Slavic organizations from Belarus, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova, Poland, Russia, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Ukraine, Montenegro and the Czech Republic participated in a deep, three-hour discussion.

All participants supported the proposal to convene the All Slavic Assembly Council (congress). The word and place of the Council (congress) provoked controversy and alternate proposals. all option, whether Belgrade, Bratislava or Minsk, has its advantages.

It was agreed that the organisation committee gathering would be held at the end of September.

The Forum hosted the Russian Veterans Union.
