President Karol Nawrocki has approved the dismissal of Brig. Gen. Radosław Jaworski of the State Protection Service (SOP) from his post as commander of the State Protection Service. The head of state’s decision paves the way for formally ending the general’s suspension, which has been in effect since January, and for appointing a permanent head of the agency, which has been operating under interim leadership for months. The decision was announced on Monday by the president’s spokesperson, Rafał Leśkiewicz.
