Michał Kowalczyk

The gathering was organized in connection with the upcoming 15th anniversary of Putra's tragic death in the Smolensk disaster on 10 April 2010.

Kaczyński: Putra was very crucial to me

Krzysztof was a very crucial man in my political life, and later besides a individual man, a man who distinguished himself from others (...), that he was able to combine and organizational efficiency, and the ability to act decisively, at the same time (he had) a very large concilation talent, due to the fact that what to say here, politics are disputes and disputes and this conciliation, the ability to communicate with others, the ability to find a place where 1 can talk in a common voice, at least in a matter, was his large advantage

– mentioned Putra Kaczyński.

He stressed that Putra had the ease of making closer contacts, as well as being able to share his experience with the mill where he was a foreman. "He said how to talk to people, so that it would work out somehow, so that those tensions that are always among people, someway end well, do not grow up to make it all work" - said Kaczyński. He admitted that these were valuable counsel for him.

He mentioned that erstwhile the Centre's Agreement was created, it had a "good partner" of Krzysztof Putra in Białystok, who "bringed in" more activists. He added that later, erstwhile the Law and Justice were established, it was in Białystok that the first committee was formed. Kaczyński said that Putra was "one of the personnel bases of the formation".

It was a large loss.

The president of the Law and Justice Department estimated that as Vice Marshal of the Senate, and later the Sejm was respected. He added that he had excellently implemented his position as Deputy talker of the Sejm in the plenary area and in the works of the Presidium of the Sejm, besides during the time erstwhile the Law and Justice did not have a majority. "Krzysztof had to deal with all this, it was not easy, but his talents, but besides his respect, which he raised and that he was able to rise respect, helped him very much" - he emphasized.

He called Putra a unique man. "This road: from a tiny village, through a profession, work, military (...), later work, Solidarity, labour government, at the same time the class of this man was truly unique and unusual" - said the president of the Law and Justice Office.
For us, Krzysztof's death was not only a failure of a very good colleague, a friend, it was besides a failure of highly crucial to us and - 1 might say - a useful policy, a policy that was able to do more in any cases than others.

said Kaczyński.

Parliamentaries and politicians from the region, activists of NSZZ Solidarity, erstwhile co-workers, as well as household participated in the memorial evening. Putra was mentioned by his boy Sebastian, a Bialystok councilman from the PiS Club.
Krzysztof Putra was born on 4 July 1957 in Suwałszczyz. In the 1970s, he worked in Białystok at an instrument and handle factory. As of 1980 he was owned by NSZZ "Solidarity".
