A 1000 hours of raid totaled Polish F-35 aircraft yesterday – the national defence minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz reported today. 8 specified machines are presently utilized for training Polish pilots in the USA, while in Poland, in a recently built base close Łódź, preparations are underway for accepting the first F-35A aircraft with a chessboard on its tail.

The landing of the first Hussars on Polish dirt is expected at the end of May 2026. The supply of all 32 F-35A Lightning II aircraft, purchased for $4.6 billion with training and logistics package, is scheduled to end in 2030.
