In Poland there is about 60,000 blocks from a large platewhere he lives over 11 million citizens. These buildings, built massively in the 1960s and 1970s, were designed for life of 40 to 70 years. Today, many of them have reached an end to their sustainability, which gives emergence to serious concerns about the safety of residents and the future of these structures.
Technical condition and prospects for blocks from a large plate
Experts are informing that many of these buildings require urgent modernisation work. Problems are among others. structural leaks, weakened plate coupling and ageing concrete. Without adequate investment in renovation, these buildings can become dangerous to residents.
It is estimated that with appropriate maintenance and modernization, blocks from a large plate can inactive be utilized by Another 50-60 years. However, the deficiency of action in this direction may consequence in the request to demolish them in the coming years 20-30 years.
