Maciej Maciak was born in Włocławek. He is simply a journalist, social activist and politician who is moving for president in 2025 as leader of the Prosperity and Peace Movement (RDiP).
Maciak was active with local media in Włocławek for many years. In the past, he was associated with Self-defense and Unpartisan Local Governments. In 2006 he ran for the Sejm of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship, and in 2018 and 2024 he applied for the office of president Włocławek – winning 14,13 and 7,42 percent of the votes respectively. In 2023, he besides competed for the Sejm with a letter of RDiP – he received 1,298 votes in territory no. 5.
Maciej Maciak is controversial due to his statements, in which he openly expresses sympathy for the Russian and Belarusian regimes. Vladimir Putin and Russia, for example, referred to as "a stand of normality". In 2019, he was convicted of insulting a black doctor who was his opponent in the election for president Włocławek.
The first question in the second debate in Koński was about universal enlistment. “I do not want to support any form of militarisation, due to the fact that this is the origin of all wars,” said Matiak.
– If individual is weak in diplomacy, arms won't help. This recruit came from conquered countries. Not for militarization, due to the fact that it is simply a burden on the budget," he added.
